Sea glass, also known as mermaid tears is a timeless treasure. The journey this piece of glass takes may have begun decades or centuries before it was found.

The vintage glass may have once been a piece of a colored bottle, vase, or even a schooner's lantern glass, washed up after a shipwreck. It is tumbled smooth over time by the continual motion of the waves against the sand, resulting in a softly frosted patina.

After a lifetime of tumbling, the colorful jewel washes up on the shore and waits to be discovered. All those years in the ocean have transformed it into something magical, something far beyond man made glass. It is as if the glass has blended with the sea and the two are now inseparable. The ‘oneness’ of the sea glass is what sets it apart.
We have combed many a beach looking for these distinct pieces, each with its own journey, captivating history, or perhaps romantic legend.
